Wardrobe Change

A/N: Skins are confirmed and you know what that means >u> I can finally live out my dream of good looking men in nothing but swimsuits. No warnings as usual, just team shenanigans and stupid jokes. The links are just pictures of… their alternate outfits if any of you need a visual representation.

“Alright, are we ready to head off?” You asked happily, as your eyes go over your team’s current status. You hear Benny yell out a happy remark (as his burst finally finished recharging) and Kaeya snort out a giddy approval. Diluc gave you a deadpan look, though him not saying anything meant he was also most likely ready. Finally, your sight lands on…

“Err, not that I do mind, really…” The ginger spoke out, his hand scratching the back of his neck. “But am I really to traverse through Dragonspine in, well, nothing but a swimsuit?

You smiled, finally taking in your team’s… mismatched outfits. Rather than their usual garb, you politely coerced them to discard their usual attire for something a bit more… fun.

Benny’s casual adventurer’s outfit had been replaced with a standard issue green uniform, complete with a hat even. He didn’t seem to mind, and he looked quite adorable as the leader of his little adventure team.

Next to him, Kaeya’s outfit was swapped for a white suit that you saw him wore once in a meeting. It was clean and rather casual, but you thought it suited the cryo user well enough. He gave you a rather flirty smile as your eyes go over the next man.

“I don’t see a problem with this.”

“I know we’ve had our differences, but do you truly wish for me to freeze up there, comrade?”

“Didn’t you say you miss the cold of your home?”

“Yes, but even I wouldn’t rash enough to brave the cold in nothing but my shorts!”

Diluc crossed his arms, as you took in his new outfit. Compared to the dark, elegant nature of his black coat and suit, he was wearing what appeared to be a server’s outfit complete with an apron. The red-head snorted, not really caring if his teammate really does freeze in the mountain tops.

“Why not abate the cold with your local Snezhnayan alcohol, hmm?” Kaeya suggested with a grin, as Diluc stood still at the mention of that particular beverage.

“Oh? You know of Fire-Water?

“Of course.” The blue haired man smirked as he continued. “Though regarding taste, I’m afraid Diluc here is more intimately—”

Kaeya. Don’t you dare—”

“—Familiar, considering he—”

“Kaeya!”

“—Once drank it and was knocked out—Urk!” Finally having enough, the tavern owner smacked his estranged brother with the blunt end of his claymore. In the background, Childe guffawed rather loudly as Benny supported him from falling over.

Speaking of Childe, the Snezhnayan was, well, not wearing much in terms of clothing. Armed in nothing more than some swim wear shorts, his pecks and abs were flawlessly shown (earning some some rather pointed remarks from his other teammates) Truthfully, when you suggested the outfit, he didn’t really mind (perhaps it was also his chance to show off) but hearing the destination you had in mind…

You hid your fond smile behind your hand, your eyes once again landing on Childe’s very lean form. Honestly, you are tempted to just… burn the rest of his clothes and have him fight in his current attire for the rest of your journey.

“Ahahah, to think that a tavern owner cannot hold his own alcohol!” Despite his rather lax form, the Harbinger still managed to dodge Diluc’s attack (while carrying Benny under his arm) as chaos now reigned in the campsite. You tried to intervene before actual visions were involved but the fight seemed to have stalled as Benny’s voice broke through.

“Oh! Can I have a taste?”

Suddenly, various possibilities of Benny’s bad luck endangering everyone when he is tipsy began flooding everyone’s mind. In unison, everyone echoed a loud “No!” in response to his question.

“Okay, can we go now if you are all ready?” You asked impatiently, though your eyes were still feasting at the colorful display of men before you.

“I guess fighting in the cold with this attire can be a form of training.”

“If you’re cold,” You started, “you can always hug me for warmth.” Suddenly, his blue eyes excitedly looked up, as a smug smirk directed its way towards the frowning red-head.

“Fine. Let’s get going.” Diluc shrugged, as he began trekking the mountain path. Bennett followed with an enthusiastic ‘Let’s go Adventure Team!’ as Childe stretched in the background. You stopped the ginger, as curious blue eyes stared back at yours.

“Do you mind waking up Kaeya?” You pointed at the fallen blue-haired man by the road. The Harbinger laughed in response, shaking his head as he rummaged through the bag and slapped an egg on the side of his face. You laughed along and offered a startled Kaeya a drink, to which he smiled thankfully.

A few minutes later and you vowed to burn Childe’s clothes as he snuggled quite comfortably by your side while both of you comfortably huddled around a campfire.
