Diluc

on most nights he’s working at the tavern
so you usually say goodnight to him there before heading to the winery for the night

a simple quick hug and peck on the cheek while he softly pats your hair

when he gets off of work and comes home, he’ll tuck you back into bed properly if you’ve moved around a lot
he’ll listen to you sleep for a while, your steady breathing soon lulling him to sleep as well
if you’re lucky and he’s off work that day, expect a bit of cuddling
he doesn’t want to let go of you, he adores you too much
being around you puts him at ease, so he usually falls asleep first
he might not say it often, but he really appreciates your company
the soft teasing from you about how he should be more open around you has seemingly inspired him to try more
so, more recently his goodnights have been accompanied by other words
“y/n.. your hair is softer today”

unpleasant

but then you came along and dissipated all his heavy feelings
the weight of his karmic debt lifted off of his shoulders, and he felt peaceful
he slept in such a way that you sometimes wondered if he was actually sleeping
…no one could be that still, right?
there were times where he’d end up sitting next to you, watching over you while you slept
it was something more productive for him
watching you talk in your sleep was one of the things he liked about you
even while awake, you’d blabble about your opinions on something, or simply speak to yourself out loud

he thought it was cute

Xingqiu

you and Xingqiu hadn’t exactly started living together
you both wanted to take things slow, and you both were still young
that didn’t mean that you didn’t ever fall asleep together
you were more of an outside person, so he’d sit with you under a tree somewhere
while you cloud gazed or explored the area surrounding the both of you, he’d be reading a book
and often, you guys would stay out for a long time
so, he offered his shoulder (or lap) for you to rest on
your soft breathing was like a quiet metronome
rhythmic and soothing, it didn’t take long for Xingqiu to get used to these moments
as well as look forward to them
gradually, he started being the one to suggest doing stuff together outside
to, you know, wear you out so you’d come back to him
and fall asleep with him
