So, we were discussing some Lore stuff the other day with @passion-00 and we made some speculations about character deaths “development” (aka The Death Sheet, as I like to call it lol):

People might consider these as spoilers of some sort so the rest is under the cut!

>Kaeya and Diluc: That’s the obvious one ofc. Imagine we reach the end of our journey and Kaeya in one way or another, sides with Khaenri'ah. And ofc he has to face Diluc. And yeah, both of them are hurting emotionally. It eats them alive actually. But both have to fight for their side. One of them dies, possibly both?

>Jean: Maybe Kaeya goes insane after killing his adoptive brother and nothing matters anymore. He goes for the head of Mondstat herself. My dear friend here insisted that Jean in particular has a lot of death flags and yes, i would agree. She’s the one holding everything together, she admires Venessa etc. And while I argued back that if most of the Mondstat cast dies, there will be no one to pick up the pieces and start over, if new Mondstat characters are keep being introduced to the game (ex. Eula), maybe there will be someone else capable of taking care of the aftermath, other than Jean.

>Albedo and Klee: now now, lower your pitchforks. It was made crystal clear during the Dragonspine questlines, Albedo will eventually at some point turn bad. Well, bad might be the wrong word here. Out of control and corrupted would be the better words. He even asked us to make a promise to stop him if at one point he loses control. Possible boss Albaedo? Maybe. But wait. Where’s Klee in all of this? Dear readers. THIS DEVIL BRAIN HUMAN BEING -> @passion-00 CRAVES ANGST. LIVES FOR IT. BREATHES IT. And ofc, if you’ve played Honkai Impact as well, you damn sure will know that things are not peachy. Like ever. Events will end up being sad AT BEST. So, the main idea here is that our cute arson child is going to try and save her big “brother” when he goes berserk and Albedo ends up killing her accidentally. If you think thats not tear jerking enough, make him wake up form his outburst right after he kills her and watch a homunculus cry tears of pain and blood for the first time in their life. Your welcome.

>Childe: ahahha… WHY MUST YOU HURT ME LIKE THIS?? Tortellini over here has undying devotion to the Tsaritsa. He says she has a kind heart but circumstances turned her into whatever we know her to be today. “But we’re a few steps away from the last big battle. Her Harbingers are all defeated one after the other by this stupidly overpowered traveler. She has no choice. She must see her plan to destroy Celestia fulfillied. So she joins forces with the Abyss order. Childe tries to find her and talk her out of this stupid idea but on his way he stops dead in his tracks as he witnesses his beloved region in total anarchy. The Tsaritsa’s protection is no more. So he frantically rans back to his family. Only to find their house shattered, blood staining everything in sight as the three lifeless bodies of his siblings stare into his eyes. The snow was never the cause of anything this severe before but he knew that the harsh, menacing looking ice spikes covering his house wasn’t a natural phenomenon.” EHE. Sorry, did I go to far? wOUPS- So yeah, the general idea here is that he goes insane from rage after he witness his family murdered by the Tsatitsa herself :P
