Dainsleif's Scary Side Comments

Dainsleif’s Scary Side Comments

Not a theory but just a thought lol. Remember in the Collected Miscellany trailers, Dainsleif is always talking in first person at the end?

From Diluc’s Collected Miscellany :

“But if the disaster from five centuries ago were to happen again, if he were to face the same evil that I once did, would he still hold fast to his resolve?”

Jean’s Collected Miscellany :

“How was her will molded, and what sustains her edge so that it never wears down? If fate wills it, I will find the answer to these questions…”

Mona’s Collected Miscellany:

“But beware, O young seeker, you must sacrifice your all to unravel the world’s secrets… Can the astrologist Mona truly bear such a burden?”

Klee’s Collected Miscellany:

“Hopefully our little Spark Knight will remain just as happy-go-lucky when that day comes, and keep smiling all the way…”

Most of these remarks all have the same message. Can the characters can still hold on even if their resolve is being tested? Maybe it’s foreshadowing, but why do these statements sound so intimidating as if something really bad is going to happen that it will affect everyone’s will to fight? What if these are not just side comments, but warnings?

Hang in there, Dain!
