More Loli Squad Headcanons (Meetings)…
Klee
Klee had been in the Knights of Favonius for a month before she ran into Kaeya after having just been let out of solitary confinement. The Captain immediately helped her find a place to use her bombs without causing too much damage and covers for her whenever he can. This is what led to her eventually start calming down more as time went on since it helped her get rid of her excess energy. None of the other knights were ever able to replicate his results.
QiQi
QiQi actually met Kaeya by accident on the battlefield after he had been knocked unconscious by a Pyro Abyss Mage ambush. She had been looking for more herbs for the pharmacy and had ventured out further than normal. With her superior undead strength, she was able to drag him into a nearby cave and used her Icy Resurrection. When Kaeya woke up, he was surprised to find the young zombie watching him like Diluc’s hawk. Something about Kaeya seemed to catch her attention and had him remaining in her memory longer than she was used to, so she keeps coming back to visit him for help in improving her memory - which Kaeya is more than happy to help with after he found out. With his Cryo Vision keeping things cool, Kaeya was able to introduce QiQi to Klee. It took a while, but eventually Klee and QiQi could spend almost all day playing together whenever they could. It scared Klee and Kaeya when she came to visit while having one of her bad days. Luckily, she had known Kaeya’s name and Jean was able to lead her to Kaeya’s office when she found her. They’re still working on her needing orders to do anything. Kaeya wants her to have true freedom.
Diona
Since they’re meeting was more than a little awkward, Kaeya and Diona’s first few interactions after were also more on the odd side. Kaeya still didn’t really know quite how to interact with her and Diona just kept trying to entice him to hang out with her more and come visit her at Cat’s Tail. While she hadn’t been very happy that he drank regularly, she was comforted when he told her that he never drank until he was drunk. Sometimes, they could be found in the same position they met: Kaeya seated either in his office, in public or (rarely) at home while Diona rests her head on his lap. Kaeya would even use the hand that he’s not using - wether the other was just writing some reports, is fiddling with something or just resting at his side - to run through her hair. They both find it very relaxing…
…until the other two barge through the door.
