saw qiqi’s chara stories and i feel like her response would be just to when someone hugs her and tells her they love her is to jsut cry. she died, scared and alone, her family is long gone when she awakes, and baizhu, while nice, has an element of fakeness to his actions. to be hugged comfortingly, protectively, by someone she cares about telling her that they care about her as much after so long… i like thinking that maybe kaeya does it, even if i cant justify it yet.
