Frozen stars

Frozen stars

Mona:I’m so hungry I could die at any moment!

Chongyun:I thought the church near you aids anyone in times of need with no cost. Surely they would let you go hungry?

Mona:That’s the thing! For some reason beyond even my foresight, they refuse to allow me into their halls! I would think the land where wind blows free would be kind to all walks of life; especially in thier large holy building.

Chongyun:….

Chongyun:Have you tried wearing something different? Like…pants?

Mona:What does that have to do with anything!?

Chongyun:Well, and I could be wrong, but perhaps the church would let you in if you didn’t invoke such….adultery.

Mona:Adultery!? I’m perfectly covered up!

Chongyun:Yeah but….no.

Mona:I refuse to believe such a ridiculous notion. Adultery, I don’t see you acting in such a way around me.

Chongyun:The chasm between acting and visualizing is deep, yet easily crossed. Those who don’t, fear the fall.

Mona:…..

Chongyun:I respect you and myself, but please keep in mind….*red* I’m a guy, and you’re very…attractive.

Mona:Chongyun, am I led to believe that you have looked at me on numerous occasions with more than nobleness behind those calm eyes; that you don’t visit me just for the understandable curiosity about the stars above? You seek me out not only out of knowledge, but out of attraction? Answer carefully.

Chongyun:Is it wrong to be fascinated by a person in every way? Mind, soul, and as well as the body? If it offends you then my apologies, but there’s no way I can look at you if I’m not accepting all of you!

Mona:*red* (Does he even realize how that sounds!) Hmmm, I see. In that case I guess nothing can be done about it. However, it would’ve been nice to know all of this from the beginning. How am I to understand you if you don’t speak openly?

Chongyun:You can read the stars but you can’t read a room?

Mona:One has nothing to do with the other!! Reading constellations in the waves is far more consistent than any mortal mind. That goes double with cryo vision users. Honestly, it as if you were all born fickled and incapable of simply being straight forward. Moments ago you all but gave me a proverb.

Chongyun:I see your point.

Mona:Honestly. I suppose I will just have to take note of this. As for you, I think a proper apology is order. Dinner….would be acceptable. *red*

Chongyun:….

Mona:….

Chongyun:*smiles* It appears being straight forward isn’t common for hydro users either.

Mona:I have no idea what you’re talking about. Even if I did, would it be so surprising. Ice could not be ice if not for water. It’s only fitting they do well together.

Chongyun:Truer words have never been spoken. Very well Mona, dinner is on me.
