Lotus Princess, the Empress of Darkness, the Debt Collector and Divinity Incarnate HCs: 1.1 Update HCs.

(as a coping mechanism against shit hitting the fan, and against so much of childe being up in the air, here are 1.1 headcanons.)

• These developments come in the wake of the Sailor Scouts and Zhongli rescuing Kaeya, the Lotus Princess, from captivity at the hands of Il Dottore. Unfortunately, after unexpectedly launching an assault of cosmic proportions on the team, La Signora manages to swipe Kaeya to succeed where Il Dottore failed. In the wake of a devastating battle, and with Kaeya being abducted twice, the team’s spirits are at an all-time low. Aether’s wounds are made even worse by his failure to protect Venti from Signora.

• In trying to keep La Signora from stealing Kaeya, Diluc engages her in a duel. Impressed by how he’s an inch away from being as powerful as an Archon, and just for fun, La Signora abducts both Diluc and Kaeya. Cue her torturing Diluc in front of him (and one of aether’s two love interests being abducted, the other being childe).

• Cue Zhongli finding out about his Lotus Princess being abducted for a second time, by La Signora. Diluc also being taken is an added knife to the heart. Blaming himself for their pain, Zhongli rushes to meet her in battle. It is on their behalf he sacrifices his Gnosis to her, therefore severing an ancient Contract. The sacrifice horrifies both Kaeya and Diluc, as Zhongli hands her his Gnosis right in front of them.

• Meanwhile, Childe is unleashing hell against his boyfriend and the other Windscouts, laughing as he does so. Aether refuses to believe the Childe looking after his siblings, and the Childe trying to kill them, are one and the same person. Aether then vows to set Childe free from whatever is holding him hostage, be it the Fatui or an even higher being.

• Cue the Zhongli vs Childe battle taking place after an exhausted Zhongli handed La Signora his Gnosis.

• Childe’s reasons for working so closely with the Fatui revolve around his siblings. If he doesn’t abide by their orders, the Fatui have promised to kill them in front of Childe, then they’ll proceed to kill him. This very well may have started because of a debt Childe owes to them, or a deal he made with them for the power to protect his little family.
