Like, the Abyss Twin wanting to save Khaenri'ah’s people no matter the cost, even if it is more than likely to fail and end in even more pain, desperately holding on to that small sliver of a chance to completely undo their curse, it honestly fits Aether really well

And tbh, his demeanor and being the sweeter one of the twins, it’s kind of sad to see him be like this. For me, he differs from Abyss Lumine in that she feels more resolute, lonely, and has anger with her pain. Aether on the other hand feels desperate and hollowed out from his pain, like it’s eating him alive.

Just, Idk man. Imagining him putting flowers in Lumi’s hair as she sleeps, having to watch the nation he cared about the most be destroyed, looking for any means to bring everyone back. Seeing the fluffy ray of sunshine becoming That makes me really emotional
