It was not often that Saganomiya Kokomi got to meet with foreign diplomats in concerning her island’s international trade-based economy. She happily welcomed heads of merchant guilds from Liyue Harbor and Dornman Port and even entertained traveling caravans from Sumeru to help support a spice trade route.

Today’s meeting was with Mondstat traders. Most of her guests also did business through the Outlander’s Trade Association on Ritou, which was under the jurisdiction of the Kanjou Commission and the Shoganate, but this group had come to her first. She had a tiny bit of pride in her heart at that, hoping it was a signal that her island, her people, were being recognized internationally.
