content of the request: Maybe even some headcannons about aether with an s/o who can’t cook to save their life but always want to help aether cook dinner

- “I can help. I also want to cook.”
- Aether would hesitate at first when he heard what his s/o just said. He would pause from his movements and would think for a long time.
- “I want to help. Please, Aether.”
- He knows what might happen. This isn’t the first time you asked to help him.
- How ruthless would he be if he would reject your offer when you’re making that face? How could he deny such a request when you’re looking so excited and happy? He doesn’t have the heart to do that.
- He doesn’t want to break your heart and make you sad so he just agreed and let you help despite knowing what might happen.
- “Okay, fine. Just… Be careful.”
- He would let you handle the simple tasks like washing and chopping the ingredients but he has to guide you or help you with it so that you wouldn’t accidentally wound yourself while chopping again.
- He would actually place his hand on top of yours and hold it then demonstrate and guide you with that.
- Aether would look and check on how you’re doing from time to time though and see if you’re have any trouble.
- “I’m not stupid, Aether. I know how to use a knife.”
- “Says the one who doesn’t know how to boil water.”
- If you managed to finish your tasks without wounding yourself or something, he’ll give you a kiss on the forehead and tells you:
- “You did great. I love you.”
- He might try to teach you the basics of cooking though because you always want to help him out.
