albedo looking after you when you’re sick;

notes: my thank you and payment to @baeshijima for telling me how the hell to build my characters. i had to make it headcanons bc i wrote it as a oneshot and then i hated it but here you go bae !!

• ok albedo would very rarely get sick. he’s just built different (and has also built up a pretty good immune system from experimenting on literally anything that makes people ill)
• but if you get ill (especially if its from coming to help him research in dragonspine) he will insist on looking after you and nursing you back to health
• he’ll make potions that work ridiculously well at making you feel better, but they always make you sleepy as hell and feel kinda weak so you’re on bed rest anyway
• he’ll literally attend to your every need. bringing you food and water whenever you ask for it, making sure you have books or something to keep you occupied, readjusting pillows and stuff to make sure you’re comfortable
• it may seem like he’s doing way too much but if he’s sort of the reason you got ill he feels bad and wants to make it up to you. if he specifically asked you to be there, he’s actually going to go insane when you’re ill
• acc will walk you to the toilet even if you insist that you may feel weak but you can walk just fine
• the potions he makes also taste gross but if you complain he will just tell you that they’ll get you back to health and thats what matters
• if you Keep complaining tho he may kiss you when you’ve finished drinking it to “check the taste for himself”
• king of not leaving your side. pulls a chair up next to your bed and will just sit there and read while you sleep.
• at some point he might fall asleep too and you wake up to see him dozed off on the chair and he’s just. so pretty help
• acc he’s built different and won’t catch anything from you, he would cuddle while you’re ill
• soft kisses on the forehead and “get some sleep, my love, you need rest”
• absentmindedly stroking whichever part of your body his hand is on while you sleep and he reads
• once you’re better he will still stay with you for a few days to make sure you don’t go and get yourself ill again. he’s a little overprotective and doesn’t want you to get ill again when he could prevent it so don’t even try to go out in the cold without a coat on
• pls take him on a date to thank him for looking after you once you’re better. pls.
