I think Scaramouche would show his love through nicknames. To prideful for physical affection, at least at first, he has a plethora of nicknames for his beloved. None of them are particularly romantic however, unless of course you find romance in being called an idiot?

Now despite the somewhat rude nicknames its always obvious that he doesn’t mean them in a particularly harsh way. Perhaps it’s the lack of malice within his tone or perhaps it’s simply the look in his eyes. It could also be the light blush on his cheeks, though he may have to kill you if you were to point that out.

Now I like to think Scaramouche is under the impression that such nicknames, despite being a main outlet for his love, does not make said love blatantly obvious. It does, of course, but please spear his ego, lest you want him to malfunction and die.
