I wonder if Guizhong was the first person Rex Lapis ever saw as an equal…
i tend to hc his war god tendencies as more being so disconnected from humans that they were like ants to him. When ants are bothering you, you get rid of them, and thats what he did to EVERYTHING.
He was apathetic. Cold. Uncaring.
But than Guizhong comes along and makes such an impact on him off of their first meeting alone that he agrees to be the brawn to her brain, to lead instead and slaughter… to stand beside her not above…
Hmmm much to think about.
