So, I changed up Aella’s backstory a little. 

Basically, she grew up a slave and was tossed around alongside her older brother who’d be about Kaeya’s age (four years older than her) When she was six, her brother took her and managed to escape. They ran for months and in the end, on the homestretch to the city of freedom, her brother died right outside the city gates. 

Tiny Diluc and Kaeya watched as this little girl was torn away from her brother’s corpse, they met her when her brother was buried and they sort of became friends from there.
