These are headcanons for a Mitachurl friend. I was this bored lmao

-Absolutely protective of you. Not one hilichurl will look at you the wrong way and not get a glare from him. He’s pretty strict about you leaving a camp as well.

-He loves having his fur cleaned or combed. Generally it feels good to get any dirt or sticks out of his fur with your tender hands. The others are a bit rough for his liking.

-Likes human music. His own kind’s is okay in his opinion, but human music has this tone of grace and dignity… and hearing you sing is one of his favorite things.

-Grooms you sometimes. That maternal instinct sometimes comes in and he’ll just… lick your hair down. It’s not too gross, and that sandpaper tongue actually feels good sometimes!

-Very handsy. Sometimes he just likes the feel of human skin, ya know? Of course, if he’s told to stop, he will. Respectful boi.

-He sheds. A lot. But it’s easy to clean u, as it usually just stays in the grass.

-Loves cuddles. Like, just get in his lap and hug him. He’ll become flustered but return the favor.

-S o f t b o i. Will genuinely bury you in his fur sometimes as a joke. Sometimes you fall asleep. He likes that.

-Loves anything you give him. A flower? He’ll put it in his fur. Something that can stuck on something? Put on the inside of his shield so he can look at it anytime.

-You definitely had to make clear to leave him alone. It even helped bridge the gaps between the two species a bit…

-He definitely made sure his hilichurls would respect you.
