[in this world, all your favourite genshin characters are gamers. as such, when they have nothing to do, they stream. some do it with others, some do it by themselves, but most do it to have fun. follow our main character aether as he interacts with all different streamers in this modern au setting.]
I’ve mentioned it before that I’ve been working on a streamer au with some people from a server I’m in and it’s become something that I’ve been fixating on lol. Here are how the characters fit in:
Aether, Lumine and Childe: For some plot related reason that won’t be spoiled, Childe lives with the twins. They get along for the most part….but Aether doesn’t like Childe and will constantly snipe him whenever they’re in a game together. Lumine is constantly tired. She also has a very dedicated fanbase, even if she isn’t particularly active like her brother. Aether, in contrast, is very…listless, but immediately perks up when it comes to games. Childe acts like the big brother, but it’s all an act. Or is it?
Xingqiu, Chongyun and Xiangling: The Liyue Kids. The ones most likely to do big group streams rather than doing them by themselves. Xingqiu and Chongyun are very protective of Xiangling and if they see any mean comments then they will Fight For Her. They mostly hang out at Xingqiu’s place because of how rich he is and they’ll eat Xiangling’s cooking on stream as well.
Zhongli, Xiao and Keqing: One, small happy family. Zhongli is everyone’s day tbh so he’ll appear on a lot of their streams and everyone loves him. Keqing is a big Lumine fan, but she doesn’t show it often and her streams are reportedly very relaxing. Xiao, on the other hand, has mysterious streams. No one quite knows what they’re like, only that they happen. Very protective of his dad™
Beidou and Ningguang: Two mums streaming together. They have adopted Lumine and Keqing as their daughters and say so on stream. They do a variety of games, but let’s be real it’s mostly horror. They’re also love doing makeup tutorials and stuff.
Diluc and Kaeya: Known as a pair of gaming brothers, but they don’t get along like that. They don’t stream together, but they’re in the same guild as Aether in a game they all play so they do interact…but there are lots of arguments as well. Diluc is the one to wake up Aether when he falls asleep on stream and is most likely the one to sponser streamers.
Barbara, Venti, Amber and Paimon: All vtubers. Barbara is the most popular, but Paimon is the face. Venti comes and goes every so often, but he manages to be as popular as ever, despite not having the same activity as Barbara and Paimon. Paimon is known for mostly dying a lot in her playthroughs while Barbara is known for singing and being an absolute delight to watch stream gacha pulls. Always so cheery, despite her bad pull rate. With Amber, you probably know her from all the meme compilations. Gets extremely lucky during gacha sessions, but moans about how bad her pulls are when not on camera.
