Peace | Razor/Aether

A/N: Thank you @wertzunge for the request☕?! Yay this will be my first Genshin Impact fic so of course it’s filled with lots of fluff. I love this trope, it’s one I’ve written many times before so I hope I could keep it a bit original. I’ll go back to playing the game now, hahaha!

Summary: Being raised by wolves, Razor doesn’t really know what tickling is, so the afternoon takes an unexpected turn when he unintentionally tickles Aether and the blond has to show him what this means and how it works. (Also on Ao3)

The sun felt warm, even when the leaves of the trees were blocking its rays from touching the skin. Recovering from an active afternoon, Aether sat with Razor against a rock in the forest of Wolvendom. They were still sweaty and recovering, content smiles on their faces.

Spending the days with Razor this way were ten times better than a simple dinner or date in Mondstadt. Aether enjoyed that. Fighting slimes, training together, climbing trees, gathering ingredients and wood, cooking and enjoying meals. Then resting together like this, maybe some kissing, cuddling. Hmm, to him this was the best definition of peace. It was his favorite thing in the world.

“You’ve got a little cut in your neck…” Aether looked up at Razor. “Ah, yes,” he replied. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Maybe a branch had scratched his neck, it couldn’t have been Razor since he was always quite gentle when they sparred together.

It didn’t hurt, so he just smiled at his sweet lover’s concern. What was remarkable though, was the feeling that followed.

AHh!” A surge of tingles was sent through all of his body and he jumped up in shock: Razor had leaned in to study the wound - was what Aether thought - but no, he leaned further and licked it. He looked at him in horror, his hand covering his neck.

It hadn’t been that long since they had started dating, and every once in a while the wolf-boy could still surprise him like this.

“Ah, yes. Sorry, humans don’t do that,” Razor corrected his mistake. Sighing, Aether lowered his hand.

“It is fine, you just startled me,” he admitted. Razor then leaned in again. Instead of licking him, he let his thumb carefully stroke the wound to clean the blood off in a ‘normal’ way, but instead of anything but painful, it felt as ticklish as that random little lick. Aether spazzed and cackled again.

“Ahhe- Razor!” he warned, giggling. Razor cocked his head.

“It hurts?” he asked, but he looked genuinely confused to see Aether smile, let alone hear him giggle like this.

“It just tickles hehehe. It’ll be fine. It’s just a little cut, it will heal,” he said, brushing at his ticklish neck to shake off the tingling feeling. When Razor gave him a long intense stare, he swallowed. “It really will heal. Don’t worry,” he reassured, but it seemed Razor was looking at him like this for other reasons.

“Tickles?” he asked curiously.

“Yes. Tickles… You know? The thing that make humans laugh. I guess.” Aether forced out an awkward silly explanation, only to want to hit himself on the head right after he said it. Of course Razor, raised by wolves, wasn’t too familiar with humans and touches. It was stupid of him and hopefully not offensive to assume he knew what ‘tickling’ was and what it would feel like.

“I mean, maybe if you don’t know.. I can show you. It’s when you touch a person, like this, for example…” He poked Razor in the side, but there was no reaction.

“It would make them laugh,” he said with a tiny voice. Razor nodded slowly, taking all that in with a serious face.

“So… not just the neck. But also here? Like this?” He poked Aether like he had done to him, and Aether literally jumped out of his skin, a squeak escaping his lips. Why did he have to be so ticklish.

“Yehehes! Like that,” he huffed. Razor’s serious expression made place for a sweet little smirk. “That is interesting,” he said. Aether backed away when he crawled closer. Uh oh.

“It is! Those w-who are very ticklish will l-laugh a lot if you touch them like that - it w-works on tickle spots on t-the body and different touches and… Whahat are you doihihing!” Aether cried out as Razor had backed him in a corner and now latched both hands on his sides, fingers wiggling experimentally and awkwardly.

“I am testing it. It is new to me. Or… am I not allowed to? Then I will stop.” The cute puppy look Razor gave him would have made any ticklish person submit immediately, no matter at what cost. Blushing, Aether nodded anxiously.

“N-no it’s fine! You can try it. But…” Razor, curious and excited, took his approval without hesitation and already dug in, pawing adorably at his torso wherever he could touch. A renewed burst of laughter came from Aether’s wide open mouth.

“AAHhahah! Hehehe Rahahazor!” he cried out, squirming and struggling under him, his body pressed against the cold rock as Razor hovered over him and exploited the newly found ticklish areas.

“Aether.. So happy…” Razor observed with the cutest look on his face. His experimental touches resulted nine out of ten attempts in Aether laughing his head off. It was super effective.

At times Razor would poke him too hard or too awkwardly, but he’d soon find another way to do it, such as scribbling or poking, brushing lightly, scratching, digging in and wiggling his fingers; he was a natural, Aether had to give him that.

“Uhuhuncle! Unclehehe!” he cried. No response, but right, of course. Razor wouldn’t understand that either.

“Time ouhout! S-stop hehhe! Mehehercy!” Aether laughed crawling away from under Razor who slightly released his hold on him. Hearing this, Razor stopped immediately. “Ah.. I’m sorry. Are you okay? Painful?” Aether shook his head. His stomach ached slightly from laughing, but he was not going to say that and make poor Razor even more worried.

“Just… Hard to breathe, hehe. I’m fine. Just… really ticklish,” he admitted, gasping for breath as he stretched out on the ground.

Razor gently tugged at Aether’s legs to make him return to him, and Aether eventually allowed him to pull him back. This time instead of pinning him down, Razor pulled him on top of his lap, allowing him to straddle him and forcing Aether to look him in his pretty eyes.

“Ticklish… Everywhere?” Razor asked fondly. He caressed the spots he had been tickling, making Aether tense up in anticipation, but he soon relaxed when he realized Razor was only giving the sweetest aftercare.

“E-eh..” Aether blushed and finally nodded when Razor’s intense stare demanded an answer. “K-kinda. I am a very ticklish person,” he said. Razor nodded.

“What about me?” he asked. Aether blinked. “Y-you mean what?” he asked. He was partially distracted since Razor was still rubbing his sides and stomach which were still very sensitive, and also by the fact that they were in such an intimate position with him on top of Razor and…

“Am I ticklish?” Razor asked. Aether held his breath. The look on Razor’s face as he said those words was just… adorable. He kissed him on the lips, smiling when he sensed the surprise. He then pulled back.

“Maybe you are… Want me to check?” he asked. Razor nodded. Looking down, Aether noticed he had been trying to tickle himself by lightly scratching his own stomach. He reached out and took his hand, their fingers intertwining.

“You cannot do it yourself,” he explained as he moved his hand away to make room for his own. Razor made a cute “hmm”-sound, confusion in his eyes. “Then please. I want to feel what it is like. Then we can both be ticklish.”

Aether giggled at his cuteness. Only this adorable wolf-boy would look so serious while asking for tickles. It was the cutest thing ever.

“Okay.” He blushed, hoping not to disappoint his boyfriend as his hands roamed around his torso in search for a ticklish spot. Pokes and squeezes didn’t really work on him. When he wriggled his hands under his clothes, carefully to see if he was fine with it, he started to try the bare skin of Razor’s stomach. Very light scribbles seemed to give a little bit reaction: a soft huff and a twitch, but that was all. Not even a smile.

“Feels nice,” Razor said like the sweet thing he was, and Aether chuckled. Of course it did. But it was supposed to tickle

He felt a little distracted by Razor’s hands on his thighs, but he knew he just held him to steady him on his lap, so he tried to ignore it and continued his research.

“A-ah!” That wasn’t Razor but Aether’s own surprised voice. He had jumped up a little when Razor’s fingers dug into his sensitive waist when he found a particular spot near his underarms.

“D-don’t tickle me,” Aether warned with a smile. “Sorry,” Razor said, moving his hands a little. Judging from the playful smile on his face, Razor did seem to think it was funny that Aether was so sensitive.

“Did you find my tickle spot?” he asked sweetly. Aether chuckled.

“Hmhm. I may have.” He hooked his fingers under both Razor’s underarms, wiggling them to reach the warmth of his armpits. Razor tensed up again, his lips parting a little.

“O-ooh…F-feels weird,” he huffed. Aether thought his entire body had toughened after spending so much time taken care of by wolves, but there had to be a few hidden gems like this.

“Please raise your arms. I can’t tickle you well like this,” he said teasingly when Razor’s instant reaction was to squeeze his arms against his sides. These had to be his tickle spots. Not noticing his teasy attitude, Razor nodded and raised his arms behind his head.

“Good boy,” Aether hummed and he kissed the tip of his nose. He then started to scribble lightly against the exposed areas of Aether’s underarms, starting off with gentle scratches and using a little bit more pressure everytime he saw him respond. It started with a little twitch. A huff, the sudden twitch of Razor’s lips that threatened to form a smile.

“Does it tickle?” he asked. Razor only gaped at him with big eyes. “Hehe I d-don’t knohohow aahh!” When Aether finally dug in for real after the slow build-up, Razor laughed for real. His arms went down, but Aether’s fingers were already where he wanted them to be.

“It does! See, we found your tickle spot. Does it feel nice?” Aether teased as he tickled his armpits, making him shake with held back laughter.

“Y-yehehes!” Razor clung onto him for his life but was basically trapped with Aether on top of him, and more laughs and giggles slipped past his lips.

“Then don’t hold back. We finally found a way to make you laugh,” Aether said, feeling totally fired up now that he had found a way to make Razor even more adorable. His laughter sounded so cute and bubbly.

“H-hehehe buhuhut!” Razor giggled. Ready to experiment some more, Aether let his hands travel a bit lower again, his fingers scribbling and scratching his slender torso, and he then clawed suddenly at Razor’s ribcage.

“AHah!” he barked out a loud laugh. Beaming, Aether thought that maybe the more he tickled him, the more sensitive he’d turn generally. “Oooh, here too? You are more ticklish than we thought after all.”

“Yehehes!” Razor laughed again, making Aether blush at his cuteness. His hands went back to his stomach that did not seem ticklish at first, but now that he already had him giggling under him, he felt confident to try again. Poking at his bare stomach and belly button, Aether smirked when more giggles poured from the wolf-boy’s lips.

“Eeeheheh! W-wahahait!” Razor giggled, squirming and twitching. Aether giggled along with him. It was as if his ticklishness just had to be activated, which had happened successfully.

“Wait? For what?” he taunted. When Razor simply bent his head and giggled uncontrollably, Aether got this new idea. He reached for his ears and lightly scribbled.

Ahah~!” Razor arched his back again and gasped. “I think I found a good spot,” Aether said and he continued to tickle his ears. Razor’s shoulders went up and he moved his head, but he couldn’t really fight the sensation. The expression on his blushy face was priceless.

“Hehehehe t-ticklehehes!” he cried. Observing his reactions carefully to see when would be a good time to stop, Aether continued to make him laugh until he had reached that point: Razor was breathing heavily, so it was a good time for a break.

“Hee- hee. That was… Funny,” Razor panted. Aether giggled and nodded excitedly.

“Definitely was,” he said, and he gave him a shy peck on the lips. However Razor grabbed his hand and pulled him back, craving more than just a peck. They kissed for a while, Aether smiling because he could sense Razor was still a little bit breathless and tired.

“Next time, let’s find your other tickle spots,” he suggested when they were both too tired to kiss more, and he snuggled against Razor’s heaving chest. “Yeah,” Razor huffed. He then looked down at Aether.

“You mean, there can be more? Tickle spots?” he asked as if he only just realized what Aether said.

“Of course. Maybe your feet are ticklish. There’s many more places to explore,” Aether said with a soft voice. Razor was quiet for a moment. He then spoke again.

“Are yours?”

Aether already had his eyes closed, feeling totally at peace again.

“Hm?” he hummed.

“Are your feet ticklish?” Razor asked.

“….” He could just sende the curiosity, and he shuddered.

“No,” he said. Razor didn’t buy it, he pushed him back slightly to look him in the eyes.

“They are not?” he asked. Damn those puppy eyes. Aether blushed, and he slowly shook his head.

“They are not,” he lied. Razor smirked, and for a moment Aether held his breath. Razor then nodded. “Alright then.” He returned him in the comfortable snuggling position. Something in Aether told him he did not believe his lie and that this was a little war for later, but that was fine.

For now he enjoyed the peace of this relaxing afternoon, feeling thankful for this new discovery and little spice in their relationship.
