summary of the story : you and Xiao were childhood friends, ever since you were children you two would meet up regularly. Then when both of you were teenagers you both fell in love, then had a secret relationship, his family ( js pretend he has a family ) found out and ended things between the two of you.

You hurriedly go to your window, Your eyes lit up to see so many children playing around. “Mom!” You shouted for her. “mom, can I go outside to play with the other kids?” you asked happily. “Fine. But only this day, now go.” you mother asked angerly, when you heard that you quietly went out, you looked around to see a lonesome child sitting in a bench, he was really quiet, you even saw some kids approach him to invite him to join them, he kept declining, so the hopes of you being his friend is probably not going to happen. But you still tried anyways, you were a cute, sweet, caring, child, your tone was always calm, so maybe that’ll help, you were a little hesitant and / or shy, “Hi!” you said, the boy turned to you in shock, but calmed down quickly, “what..” the buy said quietly, “I’m Y/n and I want to be your friend! If that’s alright.” you tell the boy with a sweet smile. The boy didn’t respond but moved to the right side of the bench to give you space, you took that answer as a yes so you sat beside him in the bench. “So.. what’s your name?” you asked him while facing him, he mumbled something so you didn’t get to hear him. “Hm? Sorry.. I didn’t hear you..” you said going near him, “It’s Xiao..” the boy says, “Ooh that’s a nice name ! Nice to meet you.” you tell Xiao with a smile “Nice to meet you too.”

“Xiao!” You yell, Xiao turned around to see you literally sprinting to him, you hug him when you got close to him though “Y/n.. stop sprinting to me I’m gonna start assuming you’re here to murder me instead of hugging me..” Xiao says worriedly, “hehe, sorry, anyways what class are you in?” you ask while pulling his hand to your locker, “If you’re asking me this to know if we’re in the class, we are. I checked the students.” Xiao says “Really?! Yes! At least we aren’t separated.” you cheer. “Just be great full we’re even going to the same school. Oh and did I ever congratulate you when we graduated grade 7?” Xiao says. “No. Now we’re grade 9!” You tell Xiao while holding his hand, he grins a little “Sorry. I didn’t get to congratulate you because of my parents, Congratulations again.” Xiao says as he kisses your cheek. “I understand, your parents can be so strict, plus they don’t like me as much don’t they?” You said, “Unfortunately. But that won’t stop me from loving you.” Xiao tells you, you smile at his response and you lead him to both of your classes.

“Y/n, my love..” Xiao says worriedly, “Hmm? something wrong Xiao?” You ask him, he sat in front of you. Both of you were in a beautiful garden behind the school, there were butterflies everywhere, it was truly a beautiful scenery, it’s a scenery that you hope that will give you amazing news, but to Xiao’s news, it’s bad. “Xiao..?” you called out his name in worry. “They found out, and they said if I don’t end things with you I’ll have no choice but to move..” Xiao says while looking down. “What..? No, how?! We made sure to only see each other at school, now..” You said, you were in disbelief, in distress. “I’m sorry Y/n.. but even if I try defending our relationship, they already found someone else. They arranged the wedding already, and they told your parents you have to come.” Xiao says in deep sorrow, You can’t hold your tears anymore, you cried, but accepted it “I.. see. When is the wedding.?” You said facing to Xiao while tears are flowing, Xiao looked up to see you smiling, “how are you still smiling in this situation.. I don’t get you, you always smile in complicated situations, and now.. I’m separating from you, yet..” Xiao says, but got cut, you caressed Xiao’s cheek “I know I shouldn’t be smiling, but.. You’re getting married, and I should be happy for you. Even if it’s not with me, a piece of my heart will forever be lingering to you, now tell me, when is the wedding?” You tell Xiao lovingly, “next week..” Xiao says quietly “I’ll be attending.” You tell Xiao in sorrow, the feeling is truly somber, Xiao can’t help but cry, you both have been in a relationship ever since grade 8, yes seems to young, but you both truly loved each other, now both of you were in college. “I love you so much, Xiao. Enjoy your life with your new one, I will be here from afar, supporting you both.” You tell Xiao while holding his hand, still, both of you deeply in love, Xiao stood up and kissed you, one last time, “I guess this is good bye, my dove. May we meet again when we cross paths again.” Xiao says “Yeah.. let’s meet again, soon.” you tell Xiao kissing his forehead.

Xiao’s wedding is almost starting we’re going to be late.” your mother yells, you, upstairs clutching a a necklace Xiao gave you, you wore it and went downstairs, “Finally, come on!” Your mother yells again, you’re holding your tears on tthe way, but you’re supposed to be happy for Xiao

you all arrived, you saw Xiao and his parents speaking to him, then, Xiao saw you, his eyes lit up and slightly blushed, you smiled at him, and went inside, Xiao’s mother walked him and you saw them, you can’t help but look away. Then more people arrived, then, the bride. “Woah.. the bride looks pretty doesn’t she?” one of your friends said, “Yeah.. very pretty.” you said, your voice so quiet your friend can’t help but ask, “Y/n, are you okay?” Your friend asks in concern, you still looking at the bride and smiling when she saw you “I’m fine.” You reassured your friend, your friend didn’t believe that so they had suspicions, the bride was now being walked, you can visibly see Xiao’s disappointment. You we’re tearing up, tears were slightly flowing already, but you pretended it was tears of happiness, your friend was looking at you worriedly. The priest said the things they’re supposed to say in a wedding.
