• You were walking along with Itto just enjoying the sun and everything that the weather gave you today, when out of the corner of your eye you saw something white floating behind a bush. “Itto-” “Y/N!” Someone popped up and threw a bag of something, your lover quickly pulled you behind him and you heard him yelp out of panic. “Ahh! Beans!” You glared at the person in question and saw a long blonde haired traveler with a smaller floating girl, stomping towards them to ask them what the hell they thought they were doing.
• “What the hell?! You could have killed him!” Turning and seeing Itto on the ground coughing, desperately trying to take in air and not choke. “Itto, are you okay?” You put a hand on his chest and heard him whimper only furthering your hatred toward this possible new enemy. They came closer and you pulled out your weapon, warning them to not come any closer and glancing at your lover.
• Itto whimpered and leaned against your chest, “Before you do anything I gotta catch my breath. Whatever you want it’s gonna have to wait a moment.” You ran your fingers through his hair, brushing the bottom of his horns and helping him calm down from his attack. A few minutes passed by and Arataki finally was able to breathe again. “Ahh, whew…that’s better. That sure took a lot out of me. Hey, why’d you have to be so mean, huh!? Surprise attacking me like that-”
• “Forget being mean, you could have killed him-” Arms wrapped around your waist pulling you against a strong chest and bringing your hand intertwined with his up to his lips. “Relax, baby. I’m okay, everythings alright.” Despite his comforting and trying to get you to calm down you were still pissed that some random stranger tried to murder your boyfriend and he wasn’t that concerned about it. The floating girl spoke up, “Wait, are you one of the people he’s kidnapped? Quickly come with us, we can help you!”
• Frankly you’re appalled that she would even suggest that and go to tell her off when you feel Itto’s chest shake with laughter, having to begrudgingly hold yourself back from doing anything rash. “Someone I kidnapped? Please- This is my amazing partner, the one and only Y/N. They’re the only people who could ever make me who I am. “ They looked shocked and apologized. Not that it helped cause the damage was already done and to be honest you didn’t care about what they had to say.
