Chubby S/O [Genshin Impact]

Characters Included: Kaeya Alberich, Diluc Ragnvindr, Venti, Aether, Xiao, Childe, Zhongli & Razor.

Notes: I know I should be doing requests right now but fuck it. I was reading a fic abt a chubby reader and wanted to do one for myself. And yes, I am aware of how many characters there are in this— (I was about to do Bennett, Xingqiu and Chongyun, but had to delete them bc this is getting too long— request if you want to see them too!) Hope you’ll enjoy this!

Kaeya Alberich

— To be honest, I don’t think Kaeya would care what you look like. Yeah, he might be a bit judgemental at first. Like saying that you can’t fight with all that weight (fuck you—). But when he sees you fighting with his own eyes, he might change his view towards chubby, fat people. (Really Kaeya ? way to rub in the salt—)

— Expect lots of teasing from him, but he doesn’t mean any harm! Its just the way he is. Even though his words might seem to come off as rude and mockery, it just isn’t. If he sees you getting hurt with his teasing, he’ll honestly stop. (Though its very hard for him to stop teasing you, you look so adorable when embarrassed—)

— He actually likes picking you up. Especially from behind where he can surprise you. He loves the look of surprise on your face when he carries you bridal-style. “Kaeya!” “What is it, darling?” (This little shit—) Even though you protest against it, he will still do it. Its also his way of showing his love for you in public, no matter how embarrassing it is (for you, at least).

— Kaeya loves hugging you as well, caressing your chubby sides, waist and arms. It feels.. soothing. He also loves pinching them, which makes you shriek in surprise. He always love those reaction of yours—

— Believe me when I say this but whenever you receive a rude comment about what you look like, expect to never see that person again. Unless Kaeya decided to spare their life, though whenever you two made eye-contact, they’ll cower in fear and run away.

— No one gets to say rude things about you and your body. He loves it so much that he would literally fight anyone who even tries to comment about it—

— If you ever feel insecure, don’t worry. Kaeya would erase all doubts in your head. No one like you should have these thoughts. “C’mon now, darling. Stop thinking those things and think of me as an exchange.”

Diluc Ragnvindr

— Diluc’s the kind of person who doesn’t judge a person by its cover. But he mostly definitely might ignore you at first, especially if you’re one of those bastards (ie: knights of Favonius). He will be indifferent with you, even if you have proven yourself worthy to fight.

— The only way for him to start caring about you (or noticing you) is either always in the tavern, exchanging words with him (even though he never answers them, only seldom) or you’re involved in the Dvalin battle. That’s the only way ?

— He might seem like a uncaring and aloof person, believe me, he isn’t. He practically wears his heart on his sleeves when he’s in love—

— Diluc loves squishing your cheeks and always chuckle when you complain about it. It’s quite endearing to watch as he squishes your cheeks while you pout and complain. He doesn’t do this in public, just in his house or tavern.

— Expect lots of kissing, forehead kisses, cheek kisses, lip-to-lip, hair kisses, shoulder kisses, neck kisses, hand kisses, you name it. He practically worship your body. Why is he doing this, you ask? He wants you to know that he loves everything about you. Even if you have stretch marks, scars and all that. (He also kisses those uwu)

— Diluc isn’t that affectionate in public, but he does have his own way of showing his affection without really showing. Patting your head, hand behind your back, and simple hand holding. It’s simple but it’s filled with love uwu

— Whoever tries to insult you, Diluc will immediately appear by your side. Even if he’s busy in the Wine Manor, he has a sixth sense when someone is insulting his s/o. It’s actually because Diluc is quite protective of you, he knows what the world has against those people who have too much fats in their body. He doesn’t want you to experience that pain.

— Diluc would excuse you two and walk away. He doesn’t want to get physical with that person. Unless that person keeps insulting his s/o then he’ll most likely snap. (Time to drag him away before he could kill that person—)

— If you ever start doubting yourself (or just insecure), Diluc would grab your hand and give it a squeeze. “Cease all those nonsense. I will not tolerate those thoughts.”

Venti

— Venti, like Diluc, doesn’t judge a book by its cover. Actually, you might even catch his eye! When he laid his eyes on you, he’s instantly hook. Believe me—

— Venti would annoy you as usual, clearly interested with you. He’s actually seen normally with you, probably trailing behind you. So if anyone needs him and can’t find, just ask where you are and they’ll find him there.

— Venti loves tackling you in a hug, especially a surprise back hug. He also loves it if you two cuddle, with him favoring the little spoon. He doesn’t know why but he loves the feeling of your arms around him. Maybe from the warmth? Maybe how snuggly it is? Who knows. He’s just contented being in your hug.

— If you’re ticklish, look out, Venti is coming for you— Though in all honesty, Venti would most likely tease you a bit, being more careful with his words than Kaeya.

— He would most likely sing a song for you, whether about you or tales from the past. He just loves it when you stare at him with wonder and excitement (or a childish gleam). He loves it when you’re in the audience, watching him sing the tales. It makes him want to do it more just to see it.

— Venti likes holding hands with you. He thinks that your hands is quite soft for someone weilding a weapon. Even if it has scars on them (or rough from all the training), Venti wouldn’t mind. In fact, he’ll kiss your hands every time.

— If someone ever insults you or make a comment about your fat, you can be sure that they’ll meet a smiling and pissed Wind Archon. No one gets away from insulting his s/o afterall—

— If negative things started clouding your mind, Venti will put his foot down. No, he will not hear those negative things, get of rid. No buts. “As a significant other of Barbatos himself, those thoughts shall not exist in my presence” (ohmay— he suddenly turned into a God DAHUXBXSG)

Aether

— Let’s be real, if Aether noticed you, Paimon will also as well. He’ll be intrigued by you because of your appearance, but overall doesn’t judge you entirely (believe him, he’s done it before and it shock him—). Aether and Paimon would immediately befriend you (bc their nice and friendly).

— Aether would most definitely ask you if you want to travel with him to search for his twin sister. He knows he’s asking a lot, but it doesn’t hurt to try ??

— He loves cuddling you, especially after a hard day filled with commissions and such (and add to the fact that he really wants to find his sister—). He would immediately seek your comfort and just snuggle with you. No words needed to be exchanged between the two of you. Though if you want to talk, go ahead. Aether would listen (just don’t expect him to answer anything—).

— He loves carrying you as well, bridal-style or piggyback rides. He doesn’t care how heavy you are (he’s strong) so you shouldn’t worry about your weight being a nuisance. Oh, and he loves it when you sit in his lap (not in a sexual way, mind you—). He wraps his arms around you and put his head on either top of your head or shoulder.

— Aether likes trying out new food with Paimon. So he often lets you have a share of a food that they discovered while venturing. If you’re conscious of your weight though, Aether would sulk but respect your wishes. Expect to see him giving you a Satisfying Salad for the next day ?

— If someone insults or make a comment about your appearance, Aether would glare at them and drag you away. He doesn’t have time to deal with other people’s shit. But expect to be stuffed with cuddles and kisses later ?

— If you start thinking negatively about your body, Aether would frown and ask you what he needs to do to help you feel better. If you need a hug, a hug you’ll get. Kisses, cuddles and all sort are the same. Except for clothing. If you’re not satisfied with your choice of clothes, Aether would raise a brow at you since (in his eyes) you were already perfect. Why do you need to change clothes? “Love, just because some people judge you doesn’t mean you have to change. Let them judge. They’ll get their karma.”

Xiao

— To be honest, when Xiao met you for the first time. He’ll think of you as weak, no not disgusting. Just weak. Like, he thinks you can’t wield a weapon. Imagine his surprise to see you wielding one perfectly. His perception towards you (and other people) slightly changed a bit.

— The only times Xiao will meet you is either by accident (or coincidence) or if you have Almond Tofu. So its you’re a traveller who winds up staying jn the Wangshu Inn, chances are, you’ll be meeting Xiao. If you’re a cook, your chances increases. He will appear to you whenever you cook Almond Tofu (especially if its for him—)

— Xiao loves how you continue to prove yourself with the (weapon of choice). He will never get tired of watching you as you dance with your weapon. (It also brings him a relief knowing you can handle yourself fine, just in case he can’t be there for you).

— He loves cuddling with you. He loves how soft and cuddly you are (and feel). Being in your arms brings a surprising (atleast for him) warmth through him. But if you’re in his arms, his arms will be tightly wrapped around you with his face on your shoulder. Sometimes he’ll tighten his hold of you.

— We all know that Xiao doesn’t like associating with himself with the mortal world. But he wouldn’t hesitate to associate with them if you came in to the picture. He knows when someone is insulting his s/o, it’s a sixth sense for him when he senses that you’re being insulted to. He will immediately appear by your side and glare at that person. Note that his glare now is much more harsher and deadlier, that person better be fleeing now—

— If you’re being insecure about yourself, Xiao doesn’t have a clue on how to deal with this tbh. He can’t really relate on what you’re feeling but he tries his best. So he might just bring you to a hug and stay like that for a while. “Foolish beloved. How does your mind come up with this foolish things? That’s the biggest lie I’ve ever heard.” (His words are a bit.. harsh, but just squint a bit and read between the lines and you’ll get what he meant by that ?).

Childe

— When he first saw you for the first time, he might not think differently at all. He doesn’t see anything special about you, except for your appearance. But other than that, nothing. But, because of his friendliness, he might approach you and strike a conversation with you. He’ll definitely be a amused if you have a sharp tongue. (Now he’s interested ?)

— Childe will probably annoy you at first, but soon you’ll get used to his presence. It’s hard not to ignore him because of how cheerful and friendly he is. Though he can be quite unpredictable. Suddenly appearing and immediately disappearing. Yeahh, very suspicious ? (but it doesn’t take long for him to ask you out—)

— Like I said, Childe is unpredictable. Sometimes he drags you just for a cuddle. Sometimes he’ll snatch a kiss on your lips before disappearing once again. Sometimes he wants a hug before, again, disappearing. Sometimes being picked up by this guy and announcing that you have a date right now (unplanned, mind you). Yeah.. This guy is so random that you’re not anymore surprised when you received a sudden back hug from him (the first time he did that, he got a bruise from you—).

— Though one thing is consistent, he always place a kiss on your cheek. Even if he kiss you on the lips, his lips is soon on your cheek. He also likes rubbing his hand on your arms or thighs, probably from the smoothness of them.

— Childe loves spoiling you with many things, sometimes being over-bearing at times. He’ll buy you anything you want, just say it. (I swear this guy is so rich—). He especially loves buying you clothes, including dresses. Even if you don’t like wearing dresses, Childe will coax you to wear one for him. His face will always brightened up when he sees you with a dress.

— If someone makes a comment or insult you, ha. They better be prepared for the Fatui (or, specifically him) to visit him. No one messes with a Harbinger’s s/o afterall..

— If you’re insecure about how you look like, Childe will immediately start listing every positive thing you have. Even the smallest ones he’ll mention it. “See? Even if you have that kind of body, you have something beautiful inside. Don’t forget that, but I wouldn’t mind reminding you everyday..” (Childe is cheesy, fite me—)

Zhongli

— When he sees you, Zhongli is immediately intrigued by your appearance alone. He hasn’t seen that many people with that kind of body shape. So it’ll definitely intrigued him. As much as I want him to approach you, I can’t. He’ll probably let it go and carry on with his day..

— Unless you two meet again, inside the Funeral Parlor with you having a commission or whatever you’re business being there. This’ll be the time where Zhongli can freely talk with you. Zhongli actually has questions regarding about your chubbiness, but decided to keep it to himself. Knowing that it’ll be rude to ask questions to you.

— Zhongli loves going on about facts about a certain object. So when he sees that you’ll listen to him, it makes him so excited that he doesn’t know what to tell you first. There is a lot of things he wants to share with you. So you might need to make him relax just so he can properly tell you about the history of an object.

— He loves hugging you. It feels satisfying. But he doesn’t do it without your consent! He respects your privacy and boundaries. So you’ll be the one initiating most of the affectionate gestures. He’s scared that he’ll scare you off (how?). And he isn’t used to affection that much. So its best to take baby steps.

— Carrying you is no problem for Zhongli. If you’re feet is painful, he’ll pick you up in bridal-style like it’s nothing. He doesn’t understand why you’re embarrassed though. Did he do something wrong—? Oh, and also, please carry extra Mora around. This guy is forgetful and he often than none forgets his wallet.

— If someone were to make comment about your appearance or insult it, Zhongli is confused because why are they saying that? Don’t they see how beautiful you are? He’s just so confused. But since he is aware of the damages that these things can cause, he will demand an apology from that person. He wants them to apologize for saying that to his s/o. If they don’t apologize, all it takes is Zhongli’s glare and their down on their knees, apologizing for their actions.

— If you start to feel insecure about your body, Zhongli might also be confused. Why? Do you need your eyes to be checked, love—? Zhongli then might realize what you’ve been through when you’re a kid, bullying, body shaming and all sorts. Zhongli will take your hand and bring it to his lips, gently kissing it. “I know I can’t get rid of those thoughts out of your head. But believe me when I say this.. your the most beatiful person that I’ve met.”

Razor

— When he first meet you, Razor would definitely be a bit confused in seeing you. Since the humans he’s seen so far was slim and small and such. So when his ruby eyes laid on your figure, he’s confused and cautious. But he soon realized you’re a human, but still remained confused.

— Razor would definitely ask you questions about your body. Not because of shaming you or insulting you! It’s just.. he’s never seen any human like you. So he’s intrigued by you. When he sees how uncomfortable you are explaining it to him, he’ll apologize to you by bumping your forehead slightly.

— Razor loves cuddling with you, not because you’re very soft (tho, that’s one reason). But because of how cuddly you seem to be. He usually cuddle with a wolf in his Lupical, and now, experiencing cuddling with a human is a nice surprise for him. The replacement for the wolf’s fur is your head, in which he snuggle in it.

— If you like hunting, then you two can go hunting together! Razor would be very excited about this idea that he practically drags you. If you want to practice, he can be your sparring partner. Even if he used Claymore, he’ll happily spar with you.

— Razor is pretty fascinated by your hands. He loves how it looks like and feels like in his own. His hands is pretty rough since he lives in the wild (he takes his gloves off for you). He also loves it whenever you pet him and smother him with affection. Razor also has your scent implanted in his mind. He can easily detect you in a mile away.

— If someone insult you or comment about your appearance, 100% he isn’t there or confused why that person said that. Razor doesn’t belong in the city afterall, so he doesn’t know about your predicament. If that person said that in the city, Razor for sure wouldn’t know but he would notice how depressed you seem. If a person said that while you two are hanging out, Razor would be so confused. Why would that person say that? In Razor’s mind, he thought that everyone loved and adore you in the city.

— If you grew insecure about your appearance, Razor can relate, just not the same reason as yours. He is insecure because he’s just an abandoned boy, with no family and no lupical left. He doesn’t belong anywhere. You being insecure makes Razor hug you. He doesn’t want you to feel like how he felt when he was left alone in this world. “You… are lupical. We, together.”
