What if Thoma could actually turn into a dog, a shiba.

Two ideas come to mind. Thoma can control it, but when his emotional levels are out of control, he poofs into his shiba form. You’re praising him and complimenting him, stroking his head or giving him a hug. His face keeps getting redder and redder by your words and your touch is what sends him over the edge and he ends up turning into a dog. You catch him before he falls and he hides his face over your shoulder, but his tail is wagging uncontrollably.

Idea two is that he’s not really good at controlling it. He hasn’t told you about his problem yet, so you don’t even think when you find a wandering shiba. He’s super friendly and seems to be attached to you onsight. You take the poor puppy in of course. You’re super happy that you have company when you’re at home, laying on the bed with your new companion, you even start talking to him (he responds with barks and whines). You start talking about Thoma, how he reminds you of a shiba too. He’s kind and helpful, not to mention extremely handsome. You basically spill your guts about your feelings to Thoma, and Thoma is getting more and more embarrassed, guilt even since this is supposed to be a private conversation, and suddenly as you’re nearly finished with the topic, Thoma is suddenly laying besides you on the bed with blushing cheeks and a guilty smile.
