I feel like the main reason why we don’t have traveler skins ( at least right now) is because of
1) the way Cutscenes are set up. A lot of the cinematic cutscenes are animations not normal cutscenes so different skins would ( as of now) require different animations for every skin
2) the element system. Every element has a slight effect on the travelers clothes so every skin would have to have multiple different variations to fit the System. 1 skin would have to have seven different skins built into it
I don’t think we well ever get traveler skins because of that or at least any new traveler skins anytime soon but if we do I think it would be cool is paimons outfit looked different and matched the travelers outfit
