i personally like the ending of re8 (in shambles over ethan dying of course but again, what a way to go </3) and i’m not someone who’s mad at the fact that the lords die (i love them all so dearly but c'mon guys it was gonna happen) but i’d love an au where the duke uses the crystalized remains of the lords that ethan sells him to bring them back :)
the only one it wouldn’t work for is donna (since the item she drops on death is angie and not her own remains) but maybe he could use angie to summon a new form for her? not sure but i just. have not stopped thinking about the duke bringing the lords back, it’s such a fun idea IDMSOAMDODMADOW
partially inspired by that theory(?) that duke found ethan’s crystallized remains and managed to bring him back somehow. the dude is (implied?) supernatural after all and the lords were also infected with the mold as ethan was so 👉🏻👈🏻
again this is just a fun idea i had IDJSODMSODMWOD i know it wouldn’t work in canon or anything but i just think it’s neat!! i can imagine them having like. remnants of crystals still on them, like the edge of heisenberg’s coat could look like it was dipped in sugar water (y'all did that rock candy making experiment in third grade too, right? /rh) and lady d could wear sparkly crystal jewelry and yeah :)
