John was very pleased. John was like Stuart’s guardian angel. Stuart was very tiny, only as big as I am. He was very delicate, and John always protected him. He was like a mum, always worried that something bad might happen to Stuart. “Don’t go there, don’t do that, it might be dangerous.” But he was more than pleased when Stuart and I got together. Of course, there was sadness in it too. Before Stuart met me, John and he was like that (knots her fingers), the best of friends – nobody was between them. So, of course it was sad.
