Do find it interesting how with the whole “vampire” thing with Lady D, they still managed to go the Science Route to explain vs the typical supernatural “she’s a Real Vampire”. Works much better for the Resident Evil universe and I’m actually very enthralled by that because it’s still so cool. She’s still “vamperic” but not in the way you think.

Also the daughters being a colony of human consciousness and a colony of flies (technically they’re more or less infected flies at this point) is really neat 👀 it’s a nice touch to the fact that in the end, they’re still monsters/bioweapons and I love them for that.

(to note: I know to new fans that the flies things can be a little “?!?!” but let me say, this is very normal for Resident Evil and on top of that, this isn’t the first time it’s been done. Prime example, Marcus and the Queen Leech of Resident Evil Zero. It doesn’t mean they are less sentient, but it hones in that they are not entirely human anymore, if at all.)
