Daily Log #2
Today Brown and I went to Medical to get our scans done. Green and his daughter were there too. I’m gonna start calling her Olive, since I haven’t learned her name yet. They seem like a lovely pair. Apparently Green’s husband was a crewmate on another ship and they are following him out. How romantic! Olive is really excited to see her dad again. Pink was there too but weirdly he didn’t scan. I didn’t ask why. He probably did it yesterday.
Brown went before me, since I was so busy chatting with Green and Olive. We’re both healthy as horses, thank stars! I would’ve stuck with them even if they were sick or something but it’s a relief nonetheless.
After we got our scans done, we went to the Cafeteria to empty the trash and to get some food. We talked while we ate and they are so much fun to talk to. Brown’s a little shy and quiet but I like that about them. They are a great listener and they don’t seem annoyed by my talking, which is a nice change of pace. Most people get annoyed with my chatter.
They are so interesting too! They are a biologist who wants to study the life forms on our soon to be home planet! I managed to get them to talk and it’s so fascinating! They clamped up though, when I commented how great it was to hear them talk about what they are passionate about. Their eyes just light up. It’s honestly breathtaking
We shot asteroids today! I could barely keep still! I swear I’m not a violent person but having enough effect to blow up whole asteroids, to impact the universe in such a way was amazing. Brown was smiling at me when I told them that, but they didn’t say why when I asked.
Weirdly I haven’t seen Purple since yesterday. I’ve at least caught glimpses of the others today but I haven’t seen her yet. It’s weird. I’m getting worried but Brown said that she’s probably been running around all day like we have and that’s why she hasn’t shown up. I’m worried tho. If I don’t see her at breakfast tomorrow, I’ll go looking for her whether or not Brown wants to come with me.
