I get a lot of letters asking me about the proper way to clean out their Bean’s pouch. The correct answer is that you don’t! Bean pouches are meant to be self-cleaning. The skin inside the pouch is very sensitive and even a gentle soap can irritate it. I get it, the pouch smells bad. I get it! But if you can’t handle the smell, then maybe you shouldn’t have a Bean. If you absolutely must, try soaking a microfiber cloth in warm water, NO SOAP, and very gently patting the inside of the pouch. Dry immediately with another microfiber cloth.
