So this evening I was playing among us with some of my friends. We didn’t have enough people to just play by ourselves, so we let online players join our game.
One of my friends is a little bit of a prankster. They decided to play a prank on a random person in our game.
And so it began. Ronn (my friend) began showering this stranger with love for no particular reason.
That stranger was Bro.
It was an enemies-to-lovers type story. Bro ignored Ronn for the first few rounds.
Then they began to team up and stick together. they helped each other get away as impostor. they started defending each other, always being there to yell that the other was safe. A romance was beginning to bloom.
soon, Ronn dropped the question.
And Bro said yes!
We began planning and preparing for the beautiful wedding ahead of us.
The next round, the wedding began.
But the wedding was interrupted. By the Impostor.
During the chaos that ensued as the wedding was broken up, Ronn disconnected. Bro was beyond devastated.
Bro disconnected shortly after. When Ronn returned, they were shocked to find out their beloved Bro had left them.
Ronn was now heartbroken and alone. We decided to have a dinner party to offer them our condolences.
But Ronn could not be consoled.
But to everyone’s great shock and joy, Bro came back!
But Bro… seemed different.
We were all angry at Bro for messing with Ronn. I started telling him off.
But I was interrupted as an emotional exchange of words started between Bro and Ronn.
Ronn yelled in despair, “PLEASE LOVE ME”
…And Bro said he did.
The love story was coming back together. We all agreed it needed to be shared with the world.
The wedding NEEDED to go on. So we began preparing once again.
And off we went. To nav.
Bro and Ronn arrived and we continued our celebrations. We headed to the cafeteria for the dance, but Bro was lost somewhere in the commotion.
He left the beautiful ceremony to do his tasks. Bro left his own wedding to do tasks.
We tried to call him back, but he would not listen. In a moment of rage, he left the game.
Never to return to his beloved Ronn again. Never to be seen.
Ronn was distraught and the rest of us were angry.
I vowed that Bro would atone for the way he had treated Ronn.
