“I’m not saying I told you so…” The Juggernaut leaned against a tree. “But I was so right.” He pointed behind him. There was nothing to see except more trees, but the Invoker hissed at him. He didn’t have to see anything to know what the Juggernaut meant.

“No, you were not right! It would’ve worked if you hadn’t stood back to watch me lose the fucking fight! If you hadn’t laughed while I was risking my arse.” Crossing his arms in front his chest, the Invoker glared at the Juggernaut, his white eyes almost glowing. The mask the Juggernaut always wore concealed his features, but the way he was leaning against the tree, his weapon hanging loosely in his hand, it conveyed how relaxed the creature was. How undisturbed by the lost fight. “You didn’t even try to win it”, the Invoker accused him.

Now the Juggernaut straightened a bit, but his shoulders still touched the bark. “I didn’t, you are right. Because it was unwinnable from the beginning.”

“It wasn’t. You are just a coward.” It was meant to get a reaction out of the Juggernaut and the Invoker succeeded.

“You are just salty cause I told you you’d lose and I was right.” The Juggernaut finally pushed away from the tree, his relaxed manner gone. “I’d never chicken out if the fight was winnable. But I don’t do stupid. I want to live a bit longer.” With that he turned around and stalked away.

“Now who’s salty now? Just because I called you a coward? Guess I’m right with that, then!” But the Juggernaut didn’t react to the Invoker. As he had said, he didn’t do stupid, and fighting with an ally in the middle of the forest, while there could be enemies all around them, would definitely fall under that category. So he left. And the Invoker stood there, alone, by now steaming with fury.
