Ravenpaw has taken up the habit of going into a room with me, then running out, only to start Screaming when she realizes I’m not in the room with her even though SHE’S the one who left, and if that ain’t the Dimitrescu daughters with Alcina—

“Mama? Mama?!”

Alcina sighs as one of her babies begins to cry out for her. Again. They were only four days old and absolutely clingy little things.

“I’m in here, darling,” Alcina calls, leaning out of the bathtub she was lounging in. “I am still in here. I have not left.”

Silence.

“MAMA?!”

With another sigh, though a very fond one, Alcina hauls herself out of the warm water and grabs her robe to go calm the little one.
