Childe tends to arrive home late- when you’re already resting sound and all the lights are off.

• He’ll clean himself up if he’s dirty from his daily exploits but most of the time he’s just so exhausted that he flops into bed the moment he gets home. He’ll change out of his clothes while laying down because he’s lazy like that
• (He sleeps shirtless)
• In his sleepy delirium he’ll look at your peaceful form, face morphing into a lovestruck look. The urge to pull you into a kiss is strong, but he chooses to readjust the blanket so you appear more comfortable instead
• At first he sleeps with distance from you, not wanting to disturb your slumber. With limbs sprayed out along the mattress, you’ll come to find he doesn’t stay away for long
• No matter what he’ll eventually maneuver you into an embrace. He does this while unconscious. If you ever need to use the bathroom or get up in the middle of the night you’ll have to pry him off you
• Childe sleeps like a fucking rock.It doesn’t matter if you snore loud or move a lot, this man isn’t waking up till morning. You could kick him in the shins and he’d still be dreaming. He’s unnaturally silent too
• He’s also super warm too! This makes his clinglyness especially annoying if you tend to heat up quickly. You’re basically stuck with a heater of a human for hours. If you try to talk to him about his warmth and clinging he’ll be apologetic but ultimately nothing changes
• He usually wakes up first! You can find him making breakfast or doing a quick workout if the bed is empty. But most of the time he can be found admiring you as soon as you awake. Once you meet his eyes he’ll kiss your nose and let you know how excited he is to start the day

Childe knows he can’t be entirely available for you at all times, so at night he (subconsciously) wants to be as close to you as possible so you know just how much he loves you.
